CAROW PARK
Carow Park is the Town of Mercer’s main park, located on the shores of Grand Portage Lake about 2 miles east of downtown on County J. The park includes a picnic area with tables, a public pavilion, restrooms, a playground, and a swimming beach. Two baseball fields are located directly across the street.

The park hosts several community events throughout the year, including Lupine Junefest, the 4th of July Celebration, and the Lions Ice Fishing Jamboree.

Claire’ d Loon:

Claire’ d Loon is a large loon sculpture that has stood as a beloved Mercer landmark since 1981. Weighing around 2,000 pounds, the statue was created to celebrate Mercer’s title as the “Loon Capital” and highlights the area’s connection to its wildlife.

Mercer Depot Museum:

Step inside this authentic railroad depot and explore Mercer’s history through books, photographs, artifacts, and vintage clothing dating back to its early days. Mercer was established in 1894 and officially became a town in 1908. (pictured above)​​
